What a great song. Can't wait to hear it live. I drive an hour to work and i had this song on repeat the whole time. Took me a couple times listening to it at first, now i can't stop.

    Best tune on the album.
  • At first I thought it was just a solid song. Now, I think it's in the top 3 from Backspacer. I also think it has some of the best lyrics Eddie has written.
  • Someone on this board suggested a week or so ago that this song is akin to Marker In the Sand off Avocado. I hadn't thought of it until then but every time I hear it now I think of that. Force of Nature has a play count on my iPod right now of 27 hahahahahaha

i agree. i was so happy to finally hear the whole version of this song after obsessing over the 30 sec clip that came out back in early september. such a great story is told in that song.

ps, i like your avatar picture thing. dexter is such a great show!

I love it. It doesn't get tiring because it's not ever over the top, first couple of listens I actually thought it was quite plain.

Love the lyrics so much to this one too. It's fantastic.
  • I loved this song when I first listened to Backspacer.
After listening to Force Of Nature about 50 times, I love it even more!
Great song, should be the second single release!

I agree with all three sentences.

  • yes, my fave on an album chock full of songs that I love. anybody who's dealt with loved ones with addiction can definitely relate. such a sad song really - yet somehow inspiring to me.
