So by dragging my girlfriend to 4 Pearl Jam shows, she's now dragging me to see U2 at the Rose Bowl. Small price to pay I guess.
I keep getting these emails from the Rose Bowl about parking and I've never been there. Anyone have any advice on the parking situation at the Rose Bowl?

huh...i haven't received any of this info :?
so here's the deal...the rose bowl is in the arroyo seco canyon...on the north side there are 2 golf courses...for the rose bowl game they are used as parking...judging by this email, it doesn't sound like they are but i would think they'd have to...anyway, getting in and out of the area is a pain...my advice, if you want to avoid a lot of assle, take the shuttle from old town

i've done it before and it's pretty slick...but do try to get there early...the shuttle take the same route as the rest of traffic so it will take a bit to get down to the bowl
In a word... HELLISH.
Parking usually means opening up Brookside Park golf Course. The streets are two lane nightmares.
My suggestion... get there early...plan to stay late.
Or walk for miles along the Arroyo Seco.
Hail, Hail!!!
Pasadena people will know better than me, but I believe there is ZERO STREET PARKING anywhere close so don't even try that. The shuttle sounds like a great idea.
I don't about Pasadena and The RB but at Fed Ex Field in MD the parking was included ($8) in the price of my general admission ticket. I didn't park in their parking lot, I park next to the stadium which made it a breeze when it was time to leave. i scouted this out the day before the show.

where it is shaded for both types of parking is essential the base of the arroyo...all of those streets will be jammed....however, the general parking area is on the golf course and if it's like the rose bowl game day, you can tailgate
i'm trying to decided whether to take the shuttle from old town, tailgate or do the 2 mile walk...sucks no matter what
I think the solution is obvious. Bigbadbill needs to host a pre-party so we can all benefit from his location!
