I got both my EW and RS issues in the mail yesterday. EW had Backspacer at the #1 spot, but Backspacer wasnt even in the Top 25 in Rolling Stone. I'm not sure why there is such a difference. Anyone of you out there that are much smarter than me have actual info about how the new release is selling? Just curious. Thanks.

The worst yet, but it still went to #1.

I would guess that Rolling Stone reflects a week or two before Backspacer was released, and maybe EW is more up to date? Backspacer was the #1 selling album of approx. 9/22-9/28.
words seem so out of place.

  • Backspace was the #1 seller on iTunes when it first came out, but now its #6. It is #1 on the Billboard top 200, as well as be the #1 rock album, #1 digital album, #1 Independent album, #1 Alternative album, and #1 Hard rock album. RS is full of crap.

This website has a list of where Backspacer is currently ranked on multiple charts... maybe I should send it to RS, too:

Rolling Stone comes out biweekly. It is running a chart from before when "Backspacer" came out.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
