For seeing Pearl Jam 3 times in California next week. :roll: Good thing she doesn't realize how many shows I've actually been to. :oops:

    She just things that they play the same songs in the same order every night even after I've repeatedly told her that isn't the case.

    My sister says that to me all the time. And considering the fact that she actually guided them around in Istanbul when they played there back in 1996, it's pretty bad. But nowadays she has other priorities, like her two little boys, so what I do seems kinda weird to her. What I do being seeing them for gazillion times every tour :D

    my sister is just as out/in of control as i am - we went to all the shows together :)
    though she didnt want to fly over the pond this year to see pj in seattle / san diego. grmpfl.

    Still, I have a baby coming in a few months so this will probably be the last for a while I can travel to see them and I definitely want to take advantage of it! I'm just lucky my wife "somewhat" understands my obsession. 8-)

    "If you got the money, you got the power!" That shouldn't be shocking to other's if you are traveling the world to see you favorite band. Many I know own their own businesses. That they are the boss and can do what they want. Though i've met a few who don't even work & depend on mommy & daddy dearest! Other's I know who are single & travel the world, not carrying what's back home. Many don't even care about marriage or settling down. I remember a friend telling me "Once Pearl Jam stop's touring, i'll find a job & work. Once they go on tour, the money saved .. i'll quite my job & follow Pearl Jam!" Or the best line "Once Pearl Jam stop's touring for a few year's, i'll find a man. With the way thing's are going, i'm gonna be single forever!" Damn!

    I've only seen PJ once, at MSG Night 1 last year, and am seeing them Halloween in Philly.

    People that don't know or haven't seen any back to back set lists would say that... frustrating. ATT people: they don't just play TEN!!! she's probably never even been to a PJ concert right? I can't wait to go to 3 more..... went to 1 already. LA and SD here I come!!

    this is my lightest pj touring year since first seeing pj in 2003. i have seen them every year since, most being 8 shows in 2006.....and this year my least, with 2 shows in philly. sure, i could've gone for all 4 shows, but 2 is just fine and better for my bank account and my vacation time. i rather save more time and $$$ for 2010, and hopefully be able to make the 20th anniversary show somewhere uber-cool. 8-) 10.31 will be my 30th pj show, closing the spectrum, halloween and a saturday gig....pretty damn good to me! :mrgreen:
