    I have no idea.

And you still haven't told me how many teaspoons are in your kitchen drawer. The tea stirring kind, not the measuring kind.

I'm obsessing about flatware. We had stainless steel service for 12 when we got married. Now we only have five dessert forks and 10 teaspoons.

    What's up with that?

You must have a really nice flatware set?

Why do people steal 'just a fork' really, nothing else matches it....?

No, it's nothing fancy. But I like it. I just can't figure out what happened to the other seven spoons over the past 18 years.

Do you have too much stuff?

I am starting to think so, not like on those hoarding shows....but I think about going to storage, and going thru boxes to toss stuff, but those people that hang out at the units can be creepy!

    Is this your everyday set?

Yup. Have to use the fancy set if we have more than five guests since we'll be short little forks. (Not us literally, we won't be short little forks, but the table will be set without enough forks... oh, forget it. You get where I'm going with this.)

Ever inherit a set of dishes and there are some odd ones with a completely unfathomable purpose? Like tiny little teacups with two handles?

Did you have a pattern dishware on your bridal registry?

Kind of...I picked out a nice modern pattern of corningware, and got gold rimmed flowery plates, that are sitting on top of the cupboards getting dusty, I am not one for serving tea in a ceramic teapot, or have use for a gravy boat....(2 handles would be a sugar cup Unlost)

Does anybody really do the whole registry anymore?

    Alas I think they do.

(4&20: Can't be a sugar dish, there are like six of them, and they all have little tiny saucers.)

    Own a spork?

    personal sugar dishes?

No, no spork....that makes me think of those silly giveaways at Tupperware parties.

Do you like home parties or despise them?

Oh, I don't like them! I always feel obligated to buy something and now I'm stuck with the crappiest ankle bracelet and necklace set _ the necklace pinches the back of my neck. Not to mention a bunch of fussy little doodad cookie cutters for making fancy cheese shapes. In my family, we just shovel the cheese in, it doesn't matter what it's shaped like. Oh, and who can forget the makeup parties! I don't even wear makeup!

Ever had relatives show up at a family gathering you are hosting, and have them set up displays of crap they're selling? Little fabric purses, Mary Kay, etc.? And you just stood there going  am I actually related to these people? I shit you not!

    Who does that?!?

I have no idea...i like home parties but none of my friends are rich enough to buy, so I feel bad hosting them. I would kill any relatives that thought they could sell their shit at my house, you can leave your catalogs out, but NO DISPLAYS! Reminds me of going to a card making party, and one of the guests put up a display of her longaberger baskets and went around asking people to buy baskets....I'm here to make cards lady, not buy your $100 handmade baskets....

What's the weirdest party you've been to?
