Do you open holiday gifts the day before, or on the day of?

The day of is my preference. Although when I was a kid I was allowed to open one gift, usually a stuffed animal, on Christmas Eve. I loved stuffed animals...
Traditional gift wrapping...until gift bags became all the rage...people always saved them...my mother had a closet full...never to be used again... :?
Do you think people really save those pretty fabric wine bags and 're-gift' them?

nothin much...I am stuffing my face with cheese covered bacon wrapped black tiger prawns that I made for dinner right now!
BTW, I think wine people do that...I had a dickens' of a time trying to find a wine bag recently, and re-gifted a bag to a friend, who promptly folded it up nice and stashed it in her stack of gift bags....

I never keep clothes for in case I put on weight, cos I'm determined to not let that happen! And I dont have any clothes that are too small for me anymore
