    Never been.

Jukee: Down to the mid-30s last night, but we haven't had a killer frost yet. I think they have a little further inland, but we're on the coast so it's usually a little later for us.

On your vacation, do you enjoy relaxing and doing nothing special, or packing in all sorts of activities every waking moment?

Just to the other side of town. I'm making the turkey and stuffings and probably a dessert, and my BIL and his wife are making all the sides, and we're bringing them to my in-laws. FIL is elderly and sadly easily confused now, so it's less disruptive if he stays in his own house. MIL is lovely, but still gets so upset when FIL goes, "Jesus Christ, who are all these people and why are they here?"

    How are your in-laws?

Don't have any ... and no Thanksgiving either! Next 'celebration' here is Bonfire Night.

    You ever set off fireworks?

No. I tend to leave if people are setting off fireworks and they aren't licensed to do so. (Sometimes past experience working in Emergency Departments makes me acutely aware of all the things that can unexpectedly go very, very wrong.)

What kinds of fireworks do you like?

Drinks at the marina tonight, but then early to bed as I have to be on the road by 5:30 to be up at the agility trial in New Hampshire. Sailor is the second dog on the line in the advanced ring, and we're starting at 7:30 a.m. Then home tomorrow night, probably a quick dinner out, then back to NH Sunday morning for more agility fun.

    You?

I'll agree with you on the McDonald's. I love their Big Mac's...and their McFlurry's yummm! I don't eat there too often though cause it tends to give me sore guts.

Do you live in the city or in the country/bush?

I live about 30 miles north of Seattle in a redneck suburb. Thanks to the housing market we had to put our plans to move closer downtown on hold.

Where do you live? Do you prefer suburbs, city, country?
