A couple of waterproofs, ski jacket, a few cotton jackets and a winter coat.

Why do I never have a coat that matches everything else I'm wearing?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Because all your coats are bright pink or turquoise?

How much luggage will you bring on your vacation?

A little daysack for on the plane and a suitcase. Same for all of us.

Is it silly to want to phone home and speak to the dog while I'm away?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Not at all. You should plan to Skype with her.

Who will mind her when you're gone?

She's going to stop at a friends house, she has a Welsh collie and they have met before. Relieved that she hasn't got to go to kennels :D

Ever go away without your dogs?

Not for more than a weekend, and not for several years.

Do you think she'll be annoyed with you?

Will I be able to stay awake during my meal out tonight?
  • unlost dogsunlost dogs Greater Boston Posts: 12,553
Yes, if you order crunchy food. It will help keep you awake.

What kind of cuisine are you having?

Just British really. Soup to start, then a veggie pastry thingy, then a sample of all the restaurants puddings ( ).

    Favourite course in a meal?
  • chimechime Posts: 7,839
Dessert. I will leave some of other courses to make sure I can eat dessert :D

Do you have friends that always only order the salad?
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
  • ClaireackClaireack Posts: 13,561
Yes, salad and a bit of dry meat (but she's had an eating disorder in the past - so just glad she's eating something!)

Do you finish work early on a Friday?
  • chimechime Posts: 7,839
I never finish early and usually finish late every day.

Have you finished for the day?

I don't know...never been a bridesmaid  only a maid of honor, because my cousind didn't want all of her friends to fight...I was 12 so I don't think that really counts.

In some ways in other ways they are way more knowledgeable than they were when I was a teenager. I teach 10 year olds and they it is amazing what they know these days.

Why is the general population so far below what seems to be the normal intelligence level?

I think its laziness, no one seems to have ambition anymore

Do you think that todays children attend enough days of the yr in school, or too many days off?

I think it is actually about the same amount of days it has been for the past 20 or so years, at least where I live. They just get more breaks thrown in the year so it seem like less days. I think year round school is a good idea. Still the same amount of days just spread out over the year so there is not a big gap in the summer.

Do the schools in your area go year round or have a big summer break?
