    Nothing real big on the agenda for 2010. In the near future I am going to the The Avett Brothers in Oct. and Roger Waters in Nov. That is pretty exciting.

    Me and Claireack are going to see Roger Waters in May 2011 in UK.

    Me and Claireack are also travelling to Malaysia and Cambodia on holiday in two weeks time :D

    Well, if by proper you mean all my family getting together to eat and then wind up getting mad about something and then being miserable, then yes, we have a proper Christmas holiday. Christmas eve with my family and Christmas day with my husband's.

    Yes, much the same. Although my family side is more remote to visit now.

    Most of my friends are local so I see them all the time anyway. I have on friend that comes in from out of town sometimes.

    Does your family do a big gift exchange or mostly just get together for the food and fight?

    Yeah, we have presents that are exchanged much like other places. Followed by a lot of food and a bit of drinking!

    Last year my husband and I went to Times Square in NYC. That was a lot of fun. We have a standing tradition of going to a friends house and a bunch of people come and we play poker and drink and do other stuff and ring in the new year. Good times. One year, though we were in Maine in Acadia Natl Park and we hiked up on this mountain, Cadillac Mnt, it is the first place you can see the sun rise in the U.S. on the east coast. So that was pretty awesome. We hiked up before sunrise and watched it rise on Jan. 1 and were the first to witness the first dawn of the new year.

    Did you expect my whole life story on that one?

    no, not at all. I get claustrophobic in our house sometimes. But it is big enough for the two of us (and it was free--it was the house my husband grew up in)

    this guy (Marky Mark aka Mark Wahlberg) is in a tribute band to a band called steel dragon. He is obsessed with them. They kick out their lead singer and he winds up getting to be in the band. He gets to live the dream, then he realizes it is not for him. He loses the girl and walks away form it all. Not a realistic movie but it is a fun movie to watch especially if you like looking at Marky Mark. It also has Jennifer Anniston in it. It is an older movie.
