Paper cut under the eye: somebody was flinging me a packet of paper and I looked up as the packed whizzed by my face, cut under my eye where the skin is all nice and sensitive... "Don't throw paper or somebody will get a paper cut under their eye!"
Ever know somebody that really DID get their eye poked out (when doing something stupid)?
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
Yes, both of them-I am rocking Betsey Johnson glasses right now (think Lisa Loeb glasses style)
Unlost: no, I actually asked the Drs to dissect eyes when we had to remove them.
What makes you the most squeamish?

probably human vomit(ing) Even if I'm watching a survival show, they always have to show somebody vomiting, can't stand watching it, hearing/smelling it. Dogcat vomit I'm ok with...
Is there something you 'cannot' leave the house without (besides keys/clothes on etc)?

Excepting the obvious like wallet, iPhone... I'd have to say earrings and wedding band. Even though I take my earrings and wedding band off every night before I go to bed. I have no idea why.
If you're married, do you wear your wedding band? If you're not, would you if you were married?
I wear it now and then....the design is fairly modern with comfort not taken into account, so when it's hot out, I take it off, and it's twisting around too much, I may need it resized, but that means buying an entirely new ring (it can't be sized, it needs to be cast in the size needed)
Do you take your jewelry off when you wash your hands/shower/put on lotion?

probably...listen to Jakob Dylan too 'The Wallflowers'
What did you have for dinner Thrilla?

Ummm... I'm not sure I've done a terrible thing lately... I try to put stuff behind me and move forward without dwelling on the bad stuff. What's the line... "you're the only one who cannot forgive yourself."
And BD: Oh, God yes, all the time. For the longest time I found myself repeatedly saying, "I just wanted to kill myself!" to my friend who's husband _ yes _ killed himself. I did it so many times, it wasn't even funny. Then I'd find myself trying to dig my way out, and next thing you know I'd be talking about some failed suicide attempt that I'd heard about. I swear, I could not stop myself.
Thankfully she knows that I sometimes blather on when I'm a bit nervous about a topic. And then, I open my mouth and insert my foot. Repeatedly.
My husband would just stand there and roll his eyes.

Do eyeballs make you squeamish?
Do you wear glasses/contacts?
If you wear glasses, do you go for stylish frames or something unobtrusive? Metal or plastic?
