I read parts of one with my son when he was reading it. I don't remember which book, but it had a scene where the little girl shoved her magic wand up the nostril of a giant troll. :?

That was book two, and ya around the middle of book 4 she turns a corner, and the books start maturing, it's one damn good story.

what do you think of the movies? i loved 1-4, hated 5 & 6.

I liked the early movies better too. (Maybe because the kids were younger?)

I Love Dune, well the first three, Ender's Game and way too many Star Trek books & various other Sci Fi books.

I tend to read autobiographies, and biographies more than novels. I have read the Dune books and the Asimov robot series though.

Do you have a certain time of day that you reserve for fun reading?

My Commute, i've read the first two Foundation Books, i think Sony has the option for a movie at some point, hope so, the one with the Mule was great i had no idea until the last 10 pages.

Ive read all the Autobiographies of the the Original Star Trek crew, they were good, William Shatner is a suprisingly good writer. Honest even when it isn't flattering to him, kind of opposite of the Celebrity he portray's himself to be.
