The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
Mr. Unlost Dogs is at work for 24 hours so I'm on my own. Which usually means Cheerios and toast. Unless I stop in at the Greek place on my way home and get a chicken kabob sandwich, which could be yummy. Or, takeout Chinese which is even yummier and would be delivered right to the door...

I've never had it...I really LOVE duck though, made any way.
What would you never eat?

tripe, i think that's what they call it. My mother cooked it when I was little and burned it, set off the smoke alarm...mmmm burning cow stomach.
What is the weirdest thing you've eaten?

Tripe! years ago, ordered it thinking it was fish. Boy was I disappointed.
*Edit: Actually, I ate something weirder. A raccoon sub at a Native American powwow many years ago when I ate meat. It tasted like road kill that had spoiled in the sun for a long time.
a hedgehog! They're so freaking trippy looking, a girl at my work had one.
you?

I would like a goat. It would keep the back lawn short, and I could train it to head-butt people who annoy me. But since the bylaws in my town don't allow goats, I guess I'd say a ferret.
All kinds of pets, budgies, hermit crabs, bettas, bunnies, goldfish, gerbils, standard dogs and cats...

Rick Steves is gonna be speaking at a festival here in 2 weeks, he's great! I love the show Haven-I'm a bit of a sci-fi nerd

zchick: For me I think it was Journey in Portland, Maine, summer of 1978 or so. Got all the way to the front row, then had to be lifted over the barricade. I was about 14 at the time and I was digging Steve Perry in his jeans and long-tailed tuxedo jacket. Sweeeeeeeeet.
What show did you go to that you're a bit embarrassed about now?
uuuhhhh....George Michael? the tour for the album after Faith. I didn't buy the tix or want to go, my mother's friend's daughter wanted to go and had never been to a concert, and I had, so I was more of her 'baby sitter'.
What thrill activity would you want to do/wish you had the guts to do?

No, although I do remember my nephews spitting up on me when they were infants. Once in a while one of the dogs wakes me up by retching and it's a race to get The Puke Towel and Bucket that are always kept under the bed for that specific purpose. (The Late, Great Seamus caught us unaware many times before we figured out we should be prepared for nighttime eruptions from the canines.)
A wasp on a trolley. Felt it crawling on my neck and I flung it to the ground, dancing and waving around like a luntic, doing my own special interpretative dance based on my aversion to flying insects. Then stamped it 10 times.
Others stared, going
I sat down and resumed my iPhone Scrabble game, a little winded but secure in the knowledge that it was dead.
