What band/singer/etc is your guilty musical pleasure?
now I‘ll have to go and find out what Post Malone is all about 😉
sorry for disrupting the thread, last question still stands (although yes, I have trips planned 😎)0 -

Hiking on the Isle of Skye/Scotland, camping at the south coast of England and hiking again in the dolomites/Italy. It’s gonna be a good summer :-) although it looks like we’re gonna have a new heatwave/drought coming up... some forests have been burning already here in Germany...
oh yeah, listened to Post Malone. Lasted 15 seconds ;-)
Fine then, new question:
what book did you read last?Post edited by JPPJ84 on0 -
I'm sure glad I didn't recommend Post Malone.
See, that's what you get for listening to what Dave Grohl says. Guilty pleasures mean never having to say you're sorry.
I like this 3-in-1 answer thing we've got going, just so happens I'm reading 3 books right now:
-50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship (Salvador Dali)
-The Migration(Helen Marshall)
-Without a Country:The Untold Story of America's Deported Veterans(J. Malcolm Garcia)
What have you learned about yourself since joining this place?Post edited by OffSheGoes35 on0 -

I guess that's a general knowledge thing though. Learned about myself? It's changed over close to 20 (!!!) years, but I've learned to let some petty things and comments slide. Seems contradictory, but I've also learned to hold folks accountable when blowing smoke out of their ass.
Good question, and same for the next.0 -
Good answer, hedo. I've learned quite a few things about myself from posting on here. One thing is...a little bit of me goes a long way. Some people can get away with posting long answers in several threads, but I get hyper and obnoxious, so it is best to just keep it short and sweet. Stick a fork in me already.
How would you rank the hosts of "The Daily Show"?0 -
Also, I would like to ask...
@rgambs are you trying to disappear on us? If so, I hope you're unsuccessful in your attempt.0 -

I like Trevor and he's funny and interviews well, but no one can do the Daily Show like Stewart, they should change the name.OffSheGoes35 said:Yay!!! Welcome back.)
I'll handle this.
@rgambs or whoever else wishes to answer -
What kind of phone do you currently have and do you like it?
EDIT - glad you don't have windmill cancer @rgambs . There is no hope for order - I throw up my hands

I also had a windmill-noise cancer scare that really set me back, but I've been assured by my doctor that the President of the United States, is, in fact, a fucking moron.Monkey Driven, Call this Living?0

It's a Moto Z something or other.
It's fine, I don't have many needs. Camera is sufficient.
The camera and flashlight motion activate with wrist movements and I really like that.

oh it's sacrilege but Silverstein really was fantastic. Sad he died young, he had so much more to say.......

I’m lazy right now, so will ask the same question.my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf0 -
Pulled pork is my go to! I like to flavor it up with spices, not sauce, and I personally like to eat it by itself (no bun) or on top of a sweet potato. Recipe is below, but I only follow it loosely now. I don't measure my spices, and I leave the pork in there for longer until it falls apart better. Friends always ask me to make this for get togethers. :-)
My question - What do you think about when you look to the sky?Whole 30 Crockpot Pulled Pork
ACTIVE TIME: 10 minutes, TOTAL TIME: 6 hours, 10 minutes; CATEGORIES: crock pot, slow cooker, pork
Ingredients:
- 4 lbs of boneless pork roast
- 2 yellow onions
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp coriander
- 2 tbsp cumin
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp chipotle powder (or a mix of red pepper and cayenne)
- 2 tbsp sea salt
- Instructions:
- Mix all of the spices together and set aside.
- Step 1. Chop onions, layer bottom of crock pot with one onion
- Step 2. Coat the entire pork with the entire batch of dry rub that you made.
- Step 3. Layer the remaining chopped onion on top.
- Step 4. Cook on high for 4-5 hours, reduce to low for 2-3 hours.

When I look up to the sky most of the time I think about love.
...Today it's more about when it will stop raining…
Same question.
