Right now, I am most interested in Ecuador/Peru/Columbia

Do you have an opinion on hockey fights? If so what is your rationale?

"No touch icing" sounds like a good way to go.

(not that there's anything wrong with that)

I think adults fighting in any realm - save for true self-defense - is just idiotic. But...if done solely for show (ala wrestling), go for it.

Have you been in a physical, angry fight?

    yup.

Hockey fights had their place in time. (Think Semenko)
Now it is a business and is not needed.

Do you think no touch icing is a good rule?
    uh sure.

Does no touch icing have anything to do with cake?

    Ha, Ident!

As to cake, I've found that with our oven, conviction trumps convection.

So this is not innuendo, but ever soaked your cake with liquor (or fancy-schmancy "liqueur")? Used to douse homemade chocolate-chip bundt cake with rum and amaretto.

not personally, I've never baked a cake in my life. BUT! a wonderful woman I met at the Colbert taping had made a Jameson cheesecake which was absolutely delicious.

Does homemade chocolate chip bundt cake with rum and amaretto sound absolutely delicious right about now?

    mmmm, cheesecake.

Your call but you're welcome to send me your address, give me a six-to-nine-month window (I'm not good under pressure), and I shall bake and send a doused one to you. Though I've never attempted shipping vs eating it =)

Think it's nuts to provide your personal info / address to a virtual stranger?

Do you go see plays/theatre performances often?

  • No, but I'm looking to change that this year

Does the early 90s alternative look still influence your style today?

    No I'm just boringly normal

Does the look from the 80s somehow influence your style today?

You mean that amazing and flattering 80s look of hair, makeup, huge shoulderpads? Pastel colors and loafers with no socks?

No, thank goodness! Did my time in that prison.

Ever done the stiff "oh how fucking cute" smile at a kid who was being an utter asshole but you couldn't say it to them, especially with their parents within eye/earshot?
  • Yes I have right before I say fuck it and tell the little shit to stop being a little asshole using the child appropriate words.

Are you going to be baking this weekend?

I don't think so. I do want to see it I just don't know if it's possible right now.

Is it too early to start shopping for Christmas dinner (Dec 25) groceries?

I think it's safe to buy some things at least but maybe not everything. It could be clever to start in time, some things has a tendency to get sold out.

    Favorite Christmas food?

  • Easy, my mother's bachelor buttons! Secret recipe I think. But it's really just a pastry filled with pineapple. You give them like two, days and the pastry softens up. Man, they are awesome
