Cujo. Cause they completely changed the plot. Sadly I'd seen the movie first.. And it made sense, and was scary enough.. But coming from the stance of Faith that I do, the book scared the ever living SHIT outta me!

    Worst TVmovie ever?
  • It - totally fuckin' ruined that book making that cheesy MFTV movie

Best conversion from book to movie?

No I have not, they always try to over do it in movies, but I have seen Phantom on Broadway and it is amazing and raw as it should be.

Not really, I only get 60 hrs at home a week right now and I have to work at least one day that I'm home so that really restricts my activities.

I've got a work conference today then we have a fancy dress ball afterwards. It's with about 3000 other travel agents so these things are always huge (and messy)

NFL playoffs! Oh and Bill Maher returns tonight and there's a new SNL tomorrow night. So lots of TV watching. Can't do much else because it's absolutely freezing here anyway!

Will you be watching much TV? If so, what?

No I won't be watching TV, I am listening to music. My girlfreind is watching Jamie Oliver and I sneak in a peak every once in a while, but eventhough I like his shows they can't keep me listening to a good Pearl Jam bootleg right now.

Is greatfull the Januari blues seems to pass by whithou getting to him or her?

I found Into the Wild enjoyable, but varying quite a lot for me. The variance for me is that they (probably in the interest of not making a 12 hour movie) cut a lot of VERY important information. Also, his death in the movie is from the sweet pea, but in the book it is from rabbit starvation. The movie skews time a bit and makes it seem as if he was at that trailer place (I can't recall the name) in Arizona for a long time, but in the book it stated about a week or so. (If memory serves.) There was a very important piece of information about him and the scene about his car in the wash-- I don't recall what it is at this point, but it would have been key to include it. (It would also be helpful if I could provide that as a concrete example. Sorry.) I wished that I had either read the book or watched the movie because now when I watch the movie (it was beautifully done) I think of all of the parts that are missing. I know. I know. It's what happens when a book is made into a movie. It kind of bummed me out though. I do own the movie and the soundtrack. In fact, I play the soundtrack at work quite a bit.

Yes. January always feels like a new beginning full of possibilities. A time to hit the reset button. Nothing to be blue about.

    Oh yeah.. I am
The only one though! However, with my dad getting worse with his condition, he spends a lot more time down in the media room with me, watching Broncos games with me. He even bought a Broncos t-shirt this year!! ( my dad just wasn't ever anything more than a baseball fan) so now we're watching the Broncos in the playoffs. But even if my teams don't win, I still love watching the playoff series.

Do you follow more than one major sports team in each category? (I.E. I follow The Broncos, The Chiefs and The Packers in football, the Heat, I guess I'm following The Oklahoma Thunder now, in Badketball... Etc..)

I only follow sports when it comes time for the Olympics or for the Super Bowl. For the Super Bowl, I really just want the snacks. I understand baseball and that is about it. Sorry.

Did you or do you play sports?
