    I speak several dialects of Massachusetts, including Boston Proper, North Shore, fake North Shore / South Shore (communities that aren't actually on the coast), and Springfield.

    My native language is Suffolk County.

    Spanish. Took it in high school, and it seemed like such a structurally logical language.

    I didn't remember it very well, though. Later in life I made my own Christmas cards, featuring the unlost dogs in sombreros with a bottle of tequila, saying "Feliz Navidad!" and what I thought was "Happy New Year" also in Spanish.

    My niece intercepted the cards before I printed them. She was in college, with a minor in Spanish. She pointed out that I was not actually saying "Happy New Year," but instead, "Prosperous Anus."
