I don't think so. Stayed in a very posh place for one night in Sri Lanka but don't think it was 5 star.

On the same trip stayed in a hotel (in a very loose sense of the word) that was crawling with all kinds of things, smelt of sewers, had an electric cable hanging in the slimey shower and had a little outside bit that was full of rubbish. Worst place you've stayed in?

A leaking caravan like the one Father Ted,Dougal and Father Hackett stayed in.The most miserable "holiday" ever the caravan in a field had no toilet,running water or heating,I stepped out into pig shit every morning.
