    I would say no- they do two different things. Can you use a wood splitter to cut sown a tree? I think not. ;)

    Not when the wind knocks a tree branch onto the ground wire leading to my house thus causing a fire. This just happened to us early Thursday morning. Thank God, we are all ok.
