Yes, I don't like running into people I know when I'm grocery shopping. Or at any store, for that matter.

What's your favorite Christmas movie or movie that takes place during Christmas time but not necessarily a Christmas movie (e.g. Gremlins)?

White Christmas, yes the really old movie with Bing Crosby. I have loved that movie since I was a kid.

What makes it feel like Christmas for you?

Professional baseball player or lead singer. And albeit for a small, local band, I at least got to do the latter for a short period of time. Funny thing is, I can't remember our damn name! It was something very Lord of the Rings-ish. Buncha damn nerds. We were about half original, half cover which was mostly 90's alternative. I wasn't very fond of the og stuff, and the one guitar player who was pretty much the musical genius & band leader would not budge on changing anything, so I left. It was too The Crow-y for me. Everything was dark, black, death, sorrow, candles, mirrors. So we'd do something like that, then cover the Soup Dragons "Divine Thing." It made no sense.

Would you rather go somewhere with beautiful architecture & not much landscape, or beautiful landscape & not much architecture?

Both seem interesting, but I would rather see beautiful landscape.

I think adults fighting in any realm - save for true self-defense - is just idiotic. But...if done solely for show (ala wrestling), go for it.

Have you been in a physical, angry fight?

"No touch icing" sounds like a good way to go.

(not that there's anything wrong with that)

Hockey fights had their place in time. (Think Semenko)
Now it is a business and is not needed.

Do you think no touch icing is a good rule?
    uh sure.

Does no touch icing have anything to do with cake?

    Ha, Ident!

As to cake, I've found that with our oven, conviction trumps convection.

So this is not innuendo, but ever soaked your cake with liquor (or fancy-schmancy "liqueur")? Used to douse homemade chocolate-chip bundt cake with rum and amaretto.

not personally, I've never baked a cake in my life. BUT! a wonderful woman I met at the Colbert taping had made a Jameson cheesecake which was absolutely delicious.

Does homemade chocolate chip bundt cake with rum and amaretto sound absolutely delicious right about now?

    mmmm, cheesecake.

Your call but you're welcome to send me your address, give me a six-to-nine-month window (I'm not good under pressure), and I shall bake and send a doused one to you. Though I've never attempted shipping vs eating it =)

Think it's nuts to provide your personal info / address to a virtual stranger?
