I think it's actually supposed to be a nice day today -- too bad I'll be cooped up in an office.

Do you think that America should stop celebrating Christopher Columbus with a holiday (http://www.mit.edu/~thistle/v9/9.11/1columbus.html)?

Mine have a half day. Incidentally my 11 yo told me this morning that she didn't think Christopher Colombus should be celebrated. :-)

Heard any new music that excited you lately?

  • Yup, saw Plague Vendor opened for Bad Religion. Nice to see a new generation of punk bands making waves. Lead singer was quite the showman, not often an opening band gets that kind of crowd reception.

Do you live somewhere where winter tires are a good idea?

  • Nah, not that I know of anyway!

Are you a bit clueless about car maintenance? ;)

How is that possible? Every vehicle comes with a manual explicitly explaining maintenance requirements. To maintain your warranty, simply follow manufacturer's specifications. If your warranty has run out you keep repeating scheduled maintenance.

Does your vehicle have tilt steering for head room?

Do you still read the comics in the newspaper?

    What's a newspaper?

well sonny, a newspaper was a stack of paper-made of newsprint-that had the day's news printed on it. People would read it whilst sitting at the table and eating breakfast, or riding the bus...sometimes they were also used to smack flies on the wall.

So have you ever read a newspaper?
