An end or at least an easing of the rough times of 2010/2011 and an opportunity to love again

Do you prefer Christmas celebrations or New Year celebrations

In light of the Christmas adverts thread .... Have you ever been given a car as a gift?

  • Kind of, sort of. My husband just bought me a car but it was with OUR money. But he went and did all the searching and arguing for it and brought it home and surprised me. I knew he was looking but it really shocked me he did it so quickly. He is a toiler.

How many new cars have you had in your lifetime?

    One

Is a car a status or something that takes you from A to B

Well, it can be both :) But to me, it's mainly a means of transport.

What would be your car if you could afford whatever you wanted?

Even if I had tons of $$, I wouldn't go crazy on a car. I would probably would go for a nice Acura with a sweet Bose system and heated seats. I love a warm butt in the winter!

I had an old wreck of a one in the early 90's I LOVED that car sooooo much,it was a freak held together but brought many fun times

Does where you live actively discourage car use?

Not really..there's not a solid public transportation system where I live and my commute to work is over 30 miles, so a car is pretty much a necessity.

Do you have a long commute to work?

Yes about 1:45 hours in the morning and about 2:30 hours at night ... by public transport
