    And to answer the question: Either Against the Day by Thomas Pynchon or Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. DFW was probably longer due to all the damn footnotes.

    Ever wish society would go back to mellow un-connetiveness? (no FB, twitter, smart phones etc)

    let's see....I haven't logged on to my fake facebook page for about 2 days, haven't checked into my twitter for over a week, last tweet was probably 2 months ago, I don't have a smart phone...only the phone that will let me look at the internet (this site does not work on it BTW). I'm pretty happy! Though, I probably would get antsy without internet after a week.

    Last time you 'unplugged' for a few days? (no phone, internet etc)

    it's been quite a while....now we have a battery backup power supply for the next time it does go out.
