Do you like Pastrami on Rye?0 -
yes...there is a pastrami place here...guy is from NY I believe...acts just like the 'soup guy'
Are the 'barrel pickles' really that amazing? The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Nope. Been in Dublin a couple of times on St Paddy's but that's the only time I've done anything.
Last few years they are trying to make it a big deal here ... sponsored by Guiness  ... but it was never anything when I was growing up so it doesn't mean anything to me :?
You?So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -
Mr RK is Irish, so we always have to search out a place that serves corned beef and cabbage...or pastys. Here I think Americans are just looking for a reason to drink and act stupid. All the holidays are made to be a big 'whoopty-doo'
I would like to try a 'real Guiness' though!
Favorite 'only available during this season/holiday' food/sweet?The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
