Are you going through Pearl Jam withdrawl like me?
Oh god how I miss the 9:30 Club :( I lived up in Frederick for a year and a half and 9:30, Rams Head, and Merriweather were my second homes hahaha. That would be absolutely amazing to see PJ there

As for the question...unfortunately no because I haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live yet (don't kill me please) lol. I plan on changing that if they do a US tour sometime after February lol. Although I am going to see Eddie in Jacksonville :D

    What are your weekend plans?

Yeah I love the 9:30. I live in Pa, so it's a little bit of a drive, but it's worth it. Eddie has talked about it on several occasions..he went there to see PiL before the Bristow show...
I hope you get to see them..go ahead and plan on multiple dates when they tour :D;)

Last few weekends have been busy...so I think I'm going to relax and chill.

Did you get to see Tres Mts. when they toured?
Show #13 was a lucky one for me....

haha yeah as long as I'm not deployed when they tour (will be gone from August-February) so I hope to see them soon.

I did not, and I just looked at dates and they're playing at the Black Cat too...damn. I saw a couple shows there and it is a tiny little place.

I saw them at the Black Cat..it was incredible..Mikey (and his guitar) was about 2 inches from my face :mrgreen:

I believe the answer to your question is...European or African?

What's your fave Monty Python movie?

The obvious would be Holy Grail of course. Funniest thing on earth during our party days.
"C'mon, I'll bite your legs off!!" But Life of Brian was pretty interesting.

What was your favorite Saturday Night Live era?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
I watched it the most from the mid-80's to early 90's. Older stuff with Belushi, Murphy, Murray, and Gilda is great too.

Have you seen all of Pearl Jam's SNL performances?

NICE!! I only have 06 but I should check out my old, old VCR tapes :D

And yes, I have a VCR. Too many VHS tapes around here including a ton of Disney stuff!

Are you doing the BlueRay thing yet?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
I really need to convert my VHS stuff to DVD...I have so much good music stuff on there..Pearl Jam and other stuff too :D

I haven't made the switch to Blue ray.

    Is it worth it?

    I don't know. I don't have blue ray.

Does it ever bother you that we've moved through a lot of different movie formats?

Not really, and if so only at work. It can be a pain in the ass to convert subtitles that have been made for a PAL movie to fit for a 30 fps or 23.976 framerate, or, even worse, try to figure out what framerate the respective subtitles have if the deliverer doesn't provide you with info

Have you ever slept in a water bed?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,407
Yes. Many times. My parents used to have one and my sister and I took naps on it. :)

Have you ever slept on one?

anything exciting going on this weekend?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,407
Not really. :D There's just time to relax a bit, which I like!

    Have you eaten lunch yet?

Yep, it's almost 7 pm over here - I'm cooking some pasta for dinner :)

Do you already know what you will have for dinner tonight?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,407
Yes, it's Saturday night. I'm making tacos.

What kind of sauce do you put on your pasta?
    &&&&&&&&&&&&&&
  • Leezestarr313Leezestarr313 Posts: 14,352
A simple tomato and meat sauce with some veggies in it.

    What's your favourite pasta shape?
  • justamjustam Posts: 21,407
Good question! We tend to eat penne because that's what the boys like. I haven't actually thought about what type is MY favorite though... Hmm, I like linguine. Let's say that. ;)

    What type do you like?

I saw that movie 'Drive' recently and it was pretty good. Some decent violence in it, if you like that sort of movie.
