As long as it runs I am not picky.
Do you have a sensible car or one for looks?0 -
sensible...and I was gonna get a new car...but then...well....
If money were no object, would you still drive a 'sensible' car?The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Hell no! I would drive a ridiculous candied out Monster Truck. One day it will be mine...
What about you?

Yes, I believe I would within reason. I think about mpg more than anything. You know the whole global warming lie and all.
What do you look for in a car?0 -
Realistically- mpg, cost of repairs, comfort etc.
I prefer the fantasy 8-)
Do you like to drive?

Yeah, I do. The problem is, so does my husband. He usually wins out and gets to drive. He doesn't trust my.driving. I scare him.

Are you a fast driver?0 -
maybe if I had a convertible with a V8 I'd have a leadfoot! 8-)
ever get out of a ticket? The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Almost all the time.(knock on wood)
What is the worst you have been stopped for speeding? (How much over the limit)0 -
the cop said I was going 78 in a 35....I got the ticket reduced, but right after that, they put up a new sign that said the speed limit was 45 (there was no sign from where I turned onto the street until I got pulled over)
i was driving the camaro....
fastest you've been clocked at/pulled over at?The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

I got stopped for doing 75ish in a 4o but I didn't get a ticket. Who knows why? I was a teenager for Christ's sake! Like I knew what I was doing.
Do you ever learn from your mistakes? Do you slow down or do you just keep the pedal to the medal? (I got pulled over 3 times within a period of 4 days one time by the same cop. Not a single ticket was issued)0 -
i'd like to say 'I learned' but I do still drive a little too fast, and when I drive the truck, I'm WAY more aggressive (like when merging onto the highway)
generally I just 'let it go' when people cut me off etc, i just feel "I'll get there when I get there, I have insurance, go ahead and hit me'
do you get road rage? The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
- Christopher McCandless0 -
Nah. Although I do get very aggravated when slow drivers won't get out of my way.

Do you ever get accused of tailgating?0 -
no, unless the person is ungodly slow...then I can have a burst of 'aaarrrrggghhhh!' and have to pass them...otherwise, I'd just literally push them out of my way.....
ever been in a really bad car wreck? The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
