I couldn't tell, I would assume it was meat since I was in Army Cadets, 72nd Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. I think it was just before Christmas because they were doing draws for turkeys and other gifts. I won a box of Turtles.

I remember oats and some nice spices.

stargirl, Do you prefer meat or veggie haggis?

Anyone else, why haven't you tried haggis yet?

It would be meat ... I couldn't get veggie in Canada ... I really should prefer the veggie one but the meat one I love

Not typically ... no the cool thing is that there is virtually no difference in the taste,the taste comes from the spices rather than the meat.
