Do you think Daniel Day Lewis will make a good Lincoln?

yes I do. saw the pic of him mostly in character having lunch. Knowing his ethic , he'll have Lincoln down cold.

The question is, will the script be good?

Harold and Kumar...I found some movie passes that I was given 3 years ago.

if the theater sells movie passes, why do they put so many stupid restrictions on them? "here's a gift for you...but you can only use it for the crappy movies that have been out for 2 weeks, and you get stuck in the room with the smallest screen and funny smell"

Why does "Hollywood" re-make so many movies?

  • HeisenbergHeisenberg Posts: 4,957
Because studio execs are a bunch of unoriginal bastards who are only concerned with dollar signs.

What is your least favorite remake?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
I very rarely watch re-makes because I think most of them will suck, but I did watch Charlie & the chocolate factory b/c I love Johnny. I was definitely disappointed. I thought the original was much better.

    Gene Wilder or Johnny Depp?

Neither...I hate Charlie and The Chocolate Factory...it creeped me out as a kid.

What movie creeped you out when you were little?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
Nightmare on Elm Street...he gets you in your dreams...it made me scared to go to sleep. My family watched that together..I was maybe 10 at the time...and I slept in my parents bed that night.

    Scariest movie you've ever seen?

I once had a friend who worked at a movie theater when I was in college. They had a midnight movie on Friday nights so on Thursday he would have to stay after to watch the print in order to make sure there were no problems with it. Once we went up there and watched The Exorcist with him, after hours...no one else in the theater but 4 degenerates who had partaken in some pre-film "festivities" watching the Exorcist with the sound cranked. That was scary.

Least favorite film of all time?
  • afroannnieafroannnie Posts: 12,995
Hmmm..Human Centipede is pretty high on the list.

Why did I make myself watch that movie? :?
