    About 23.15 last night.

    Do you use the 24 hour clock much in the US??? (I was sat next to an American couple on a bus when the husband was trying to explain the 24 clock (it's what we use a lot and was what was on the bus) ... reminded me that when I called to confirm my flight with an American airline I was told there was no such time as 16.00)
    So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

    Pretty much only the military uses the 24 hour clock. I work for a military agency, so I hear it all the time.

    Just sit at a desk all day ... is time on computers, phones etc not 24 hour?? Pretty much everything electronic here has the 24 hour clock.

    yes!

    I dunno...a 40# bag of dog food is about $50-$60-will last for a month for a lab and a chihuahua
    a 25# bag of cat food costs $15 and will feed 3 cats for a little over a month
