Mr. Unlost does all the grilling. Sometimes he'll do up a nice piece of flounder or haddock or some such thing in a little foil envelope with fresh veggies. Yummeroo.

    What's for lunch?

I'm buying today, so not my usual yogurt and granola. The entree special at work is rainbow trout with fingerling potatoes and a fancy salad. I might give it a try. They also have a red lentil soup that looks pretty yummy.

    White wine or red?

Yes, had some at the White House in Anaheim, CA a few years back. It was quite old and insanely delish!

Not really but if you put enough brandy in it it's drinkable and festive :D

Close to home, the only one not still living in our hometown (in some cases, having moved back there later in life) is Mr. Unlost's brother and his family, they'll be up at some point.

Do you think it's reasonable to institute a "one present per person" policy this year? Things get so out of hand.

And, FYI, there will be no iPads on my shopping list this year. :x

  • Yes, we do one gift per person. It's gets insane when you have 8 kids in the family to buy for...from teen to infant... I don't know how my friend's family does with 14 children and their 38 grandchildren...the logistics must be insane!

Do you hang any scented thingies from the mirror in your car, and if so, what's up there now?

  • I have no car, but I love the smell of cinnamon at the moment :) So maybe it would be something cinnamon. But I don't know if I would hang something there at all.

    What's for dinner tonight?

Though Air Canada is a second. I had a pleasant experience with them, though god help anyone who gets severely delayed in their LaGuardia Airport terminal past the security checkpoint.
