I don't believe about serial killers and kangaroos in the streets but I know for a fact that in Australia shrimp is often "thrown on the barbie" and Australians say this to each other quite a bit, "that's not a knife...THIS is a knife".

Is it true that Americans have massive houses?? (every movie I see, you guys always have these magnificent big houses)
depends on the city/town you're visiting...in Bel Air yes you'll have a big house, some places in Seattle have teeny houses (built in the early 1900s) but they cost a LOT.
