Now that I think about it I think I learned Mary lamb on the recorder back in grade 6. They had us play ukeleles as well but I forgot what we played.

Didn't know there was a new Beastie album coming out.

Have you heard any singles from it yet?

Didn't get mtv, lived in Canada, it was years later that I saw Much Music in Canada, I think Pearl Jam was one of the first videos I remember seeing.

    New Beasties sounds good.

    Your favorite early vid?

Besides any and all Michael Jackson, because he was the best. It has to be the beasties. Fight For Your Right. I walked around with a lavender ghetto blaster attached to my ear for at least 6 months after that video.

One time but I was away with army cadets on that weekend so they didn't talk to me.

My parents didn't even punish me either.

Worst thing you got away with?
  • RYEzupSFRYEzupSF Posts: 6,003
Nothing too bad. the one i feel bad about is dropping acid on a youth group trip while my mother was the chaperon. I was tripping my ass off and kept her up all night talking about god only knows what. Years later I told her the truth because I felt so bad. She told me it was one of her favorite memories with me. It was such a beautiful conversation. She felt really bad after the truth came out. I'm an ass.

Do you remember a lot of things?

I remember too much. I have a photographic memory when it comes to numbers, so I have an unnecessary backlog of phone numbers, accounts, addresses and math problems in my head, lol.

not really.i'll read anything. i tend to get on author kicks more than genre kicks.

I've been digging non-fiction lately, but I'll always have a soft spot for horror, like Lovecraft. I just finished a book called Shark: In Peril In the Sea, about the exploration of sharks and their current vulnerability. I thought it was great, but I could be biased because I'm majoring in marine biology, lol.

When was the last time you were really, REALLY drunk?

sorry about skipping you, I'll answer both your questions. I'm like you, I get drunk but never really messed up. The last time was a few years ago. I mixed beer, like, three hard liquors, a glass of wine and some green... Man, that was ugly. I also prefer the book over the movie.

There's too much good food around, I cannot pick something favourite right now. Yesterday, we were at a gorgeous little place here in Spain and they served an awesome meal with many different delicious little modern Spanish appetizer courses. That was just yum!
