    Never

Bd - do you have some advice for us?
  • Nope but get asked a lot...
My product expertise is not in retail products.

Yes - Don't ever take my advice

What grade do you teach? My mom and bro are teachers, much respect.

  • I have taught 2, 3, and currently on my 11th year as 4th grade.

Do you see your mom and bro coming more and more disenchanted as the years go on?
  • My mom is retired but loved it, my brother just made tenure so he's happy...

What has changed in your job since you started it?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • The government sticking their grimy little mitts deeper into the pie. Trying to control everything.
The kids, too. You have both ends of the spectrum and not much middle ground to work with.

Do you ever think of a career change?
  • Well being in banking the past few years has had me thinking :mrgreen:

How the hell do I still have a job? :?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • I guess you are one of the lucky ones.

Do your kids go to public or private school?
  • Public... why I moved to my town.

Did you go to private school?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • I live in the south, there are no private schools. We can't afford them. jk. there are a few in the bigger cities.

How far do you live from where you grew up?
  • 35 miles, an hour by car... (Have to cross the Hudson River and East River to get to it, so it takes a bit)

    You?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • Same town. Mom lives about 10 min. away although it is not in the house in which I grew up. Lived on a farm as a kid and my mom and dad divorced. When I turned 18 she sold it and moved to town. (the city you might say)

Do your parents still live in the house in which you grew up?
  • Parents divorced and then my dad died... she lives in the same apartment building but not the same apartment

    Ever live in an apartment?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • When I was in college, my sister and I lived in an apartment together and I lived in an apartment with my boyfriend (now hubby) for several years.

Does your mom live in NY?
  • Yep... in the borough of Queens...

    Could you live in NYC?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • I love NYC. I think it is one city I would love to live in. I don't think I would want to move there for the rest of my life. But a few years, sure.

    Why did you leave?
  • Second child... We had a 2 year old with another coming so we needed more space... had a great place on the upper west side... but I grew up in an apartment and wanted kids to have some space... Plus we always wanted 3 kids so that was not going to work in the city unless I became CEO
We will be moving back when kids are out of house...

Where do you want to live when you retire?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • yes several...

two townhomes and three "typical" apts.

    You?
"...And I fight back in my mind. Never lets me be right.
I got memories. I got shit so much it don't show."
  • Well, we already live in the cheapest place in the states. Can't move anywhere cheaper so I guess the sky is the limit. Maybe France, Thailand or something like that. No kids for us so probably by then we will have no family to tie us down. (sad to say, but the truth).

Do you travel on vacation a lot?
