Ehm... let's say I was very curious to try it, but I had enough of it, at the time
I'd repeat the experience, though
Well played Owl
Ah but Would you repeat the experience of Scotland or haggis and where is that ocean dweller specifically
Obviously, both!
Also because I don't think I would ever find some good haggis&tatties down here in Italy...
(I thought I'd given enough hints for you to understand :P )

Why ... we have Italian here yet you don't have Scottish there!
Did I miss clues or is geography not my strength
“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”
owl must have been so excited about trying haggis...forgot a question... :?
Do you like corned beef and cabbage?
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
yes...there is a pastrami place here...guy is from NY I believe...acts just like the 'soup guy'
Are the 'barrel pickles' really that amazing?

Guess we're much better at exporting our food rather than importing it...
As for my clues, they followed my Scottish tour description when I talked about living on a beautiful peninsula in the Mediterranean, or something like that
in NY, they have little markets and barrels full of pickles...they fish one out for you. BD could better explain...never been to NY, only see that on TV.
Do you have a good recipe for soda bread?

There is a huge huge Italian culture in Edinburgh the Italian restaurants serve haggis pizza
Am I mucking up the Q&A's RKCNDY and Owl  I better leave you to it ... continue

Guess my question has long gone now, not a problem, but if chatting/posting in between posts isn't allowed, I'll stop it at once. I'm not that into it, yet... :?

“There should be a place where only the things you want to happen, happen”
Nope. Been in Dublin a couple of times on St Paddy's but that's the only time I've done anything.
Last few years they are trying to make it a big deal here ... sponsored by Guiness  ... but it was never anything when I was growing up so it doesn't mean anything to me :?
You?
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
Mr RK is Irish, so we always have to search out a place that serves corned beef and cabbage...or pastys. Here I think Americans are just looking for a reason to drink and act stupid. All the holidays are made to be a big 'whoopty-doo'
I would like to try a 'real Guiness' though!
Favorite 'only available during this season/holiday' food/sweet?
