Nope. Had the fear installed in me at the age of 7 when I was told by some older kids if I fell over to make sure I put my hands in fists so no one skated over my fingers ... they then pointed out a patch of blood on the ice ... this resulted in the fact I have spent a grand total of 2 minutes on the ice in my life.
