    you mean 'land yacht'?

and how do you know i'm on chad's list? I guess it's ok if I'm on his list, at least eyed didn't participate, I mean, otherwise a short bus full of wolverines and suspicious looking boxes full of mined acid would be delivered to my doorstep.

and as long as you don't partake in the mischief that has been going on, you shall finish early!

What are you doing up so late anyway?

Fretting. Too much stuff to do and not enough time. But I did accomplish the one thing I had to do _ in the past hour I ordered the Christmas cards before the Shutterfly 20% discount offer ends at midnight.

What do you do when you're feeling burned out?

Just the usual work crap. I guess I'm just tired of being on call. I've been working weekends and holidays for so many years. Whine, whine, whine. Honestly, it's not that bad and I know I'm lucky to have work that I truly enjoy (most parts of it, anyway). But someone mentioned a possible new position and I'm interested in it, and the though of doing something different leaves me surprisingly conflicted about what I'm doing now.

That and the holier-than-thou office mate who has lately taken to eating crunchy pretzels all afternoon.

Really, what I need is an attitude adjustment and a good night's sleep! Sorry for the whinefest.

How many pillows are on your bed right now?

    3...4...I like my pillows

change is good..the uneasiness is because you're comfortable, but if you feel like a change, go for the new position! I quit a well paying job working at a large corporate company and took on a minimum wage job so I could feel good about what I did for work.

(oh, and go back and see the handsome massage guy to relax! ;) )
what happened to getting your own office? was that you? :?

  • I guess I technically have my own office. I just have to share it with 21 9 year olds.

Will you tell if I break my cat's arms now?

  • He won't quit scratching on the door frame and when I go to get him to stop he runs half way down the hall and lays down and rolls over like he wants his belly rubbed. But we all know that is just a ploy for me to put my hand down there so he can crawl up my arm.

Why oh why did I not just leave him in that vacant lot?

because you have a good heart :D

My older cat was like that, meow meow meow...meOW...MEow...and scratching at the door the whole time  and he was an escape artist, he knew when you weren't looking, and would bolt for the outside. I finally let him be an outdoor cat...no use in fighting him....maybe Gremster wants to be a barn cat?
