  • Never. I don't like all the details that go into it. I just like going.

Do you always do the event planning for your family?

Beef tenderloin, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, green bean casserole, dinner rolls. Now we're watching the Celtics & digesting before presents and dessert.

Your favorite thing on the menu at PF Changs?

What was the best part of christmas day for you?

That my father-in-law seemed at peace and enjoying himself (he's increasingly slipping away into dementia). And he actually said my name so he knew who I was!

How about yours, how was it?

    Hi JB!

I am traveling to upstate NY to compete with the three unlost dogs in an agility tournament. Third year in a row at this site, it's always a lot of fun as my closest friends also go. Mr. Unlost will be working, alas.

It's snowing here in Boston now, but the serious stuff isn't supposed to happen for a while.

Do you shovel, or have a snowblower or bobcat or some such thing?

Now I only have a shovel but we grew up in Milwaukee and we know snow. I used to shovel for all the neighbors and saved enough money for a snowblower, that was cool. Anyone out there today snowblowing should be careful, a friend of mine had the tip of his finger ripped off by a snowblower when he was clearing a jam in the chute.
Never had a bobcat but did have a big fluffy kitty named matzaball :D

What was the first pet you ever owned when you moved away from your parents house? and what did you name it?

It sure is, buddy! I went out for a run at around 3 and boy did it change by the time I was homeward bound. I thought my face was bleeding, the snow was hitting it so hard!

Do you expect a snow day tomorrow?

Better than that, my friend, I have a spouse who loves nothing more than to clear snow! Seriously, he'll be out there in the teeth of it, clearing our house and all the neighbors as well.

I will be inside, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with a peppermint stick stirrer.

    Do you like hot chocolate?

  • It counts

How much snow did you get?
    GoiMTvP.gif
  • We've probably gotten 2-3 inches but it melts almost as quickly as it lands. There is probably still an inch on the ground but it is still trying.

    How about you?
  • One foot on the ground
    Another foot to go

    Should I just sleep late?

Yes. It's howling here and there's about a 2 foot drift at the end of my driveway. I suspect tomorrow will be a work from home day.

Do you work from home much?

With the snow drift, it's almost 3 ft.

    Who's doing the shoveling?
