and to answer Chime, I guess yeh, you will get the general idea of it. But there would also be a lot of rules that you wouldn't know and be like 'what the fuck was that for?' But I started watching it without knowing the rules and I love it know.

Unfortunately not. I know how huge it would be for their whole family if St Kilda won so would have to root for them. Sorry. Although I don't think she would care who I wanted to win to be honest :P

Do you follow any teams other than those from Sydney (not including Australia )?

I try to keep abreast of what happens in EPL and NBA. Do I follow a team in either of them not really. I guess I support Everton cause of Timmy Cahill. But in NBA, I support (not madly mind you) Boston.

ps, Sydney didn't make it to the AFL gf. And the Sydney Roosters (formerly Eastern Suburbs Roosters) in the NRL I dislike with a passion.

Is it unusual to be veggie in Aus? (it isn't here but was when I lived in the States)

For Black 35 it's this ... we have it a lot in the UK too but Aussies are kindof known here for putting it on burgers which we don't do

You my friend, have not lived. It is a root vegetable that is red in colour (can stain anything, so beware) it is best tinned (the only thing i will say better tinned). It is quite sweet in flavour, and goes well on sandwiches and hamburgers. As stated in a n earlier post. Even better when you put salt and pepper on it.

No not unusual to be vegetarian. We just segregate them. You know, sit at different tables, etc

So what do you eat? chick peas, kidney beans, Tofu? hmmmmm, makes me want to go and cook a steak.

Are beetroots the same as beets?
Maybe we just call it something else. I've never looked for it at the grocery store

yeah you can call them beets. We say baby beets for small ones. But seriously look for it, put it on your next sandwich. They are cheap as here. About $1 a can.
