Had two bottles last night. For guests we don't like it's either this or two buck chuck.

Trader Joes has the BEST two buck chuck... well, it's $3, but same difference.
So if I were your guest, you wouldn't get rid of me that easily!

...an okay wine at best...good title...just poured 1/4 bottle into my pasta sauce. good stuff! 8-)

also a fan of a bottle called 'The Other' with the generous naked backside shot of woman...a beautiful bottle which was purchased for the label alone...not bad...not great...

Food Network taught me you shouldn't cook with anything you wouldn't drink.
Hope your dinner was tasty. :)

i agree! sauce came out awesome. :D
rodney strong cab is my preferred bottle...love throwing that in the sauce, and then drinking the rest of the wine straight from the bottle for the following 1-2 hours as i cook. good stuff.
I love to turn you on

Oh yes, you gotta buy that stuff by the case. :)
There's no Trader Joe's in my city, but whenever I'm coming back from Minneapolis/St. Paul I try to stop and stock up. I've got some Naan and pasta dinners in the freezer too.

    are you talking about ...

    Folie_A_Deux_MenageATrois_Red.jpg

    that is it!!!

So, I used to be a huge fan of his vineyard (Folie a Duex) ... but, they changed ownership a few years ago and it hasn't been the same since. Got swallowed up by a large wine estate / company (Trinchero, I believe)

Thye used to make a fantastic Semillon ... but, sadly ... no longer.

Yeah I never thought of that, mmmm....., assumed hubby would have the say so, and I know what he'd choose. Still maybe not, think I'm probably too shy.
