I'm not one of Boom's biggest fans but he's been playing with PJ since '03 and yet he's not credited with being in the band. Why?

Well for one, he probably only plays on about half of their songs. Also, there are plenty of bands such as, The Rolling Stones and the Who, who have brought along additional performers over the years, but never made the official members of the band. In fact, if you look at the Rolling Stones, they've had the same bass player now for like 15 years, and he is not an official member. I think it just comes down to the core members of the group, and even though Matt hasn't been there since the beginning, he has been there longer than any other drummer they have ever had, and he has contributed songs to most or all of the albums they have made since he joined.
words seem so out of place.

yep, Matt was on the very first demo that Jack Irons passed to Eddie!!! fun, full circle, type of info.....
  • love Boom. But I agree that he is not a core member. He's PJ's fifth Beatle (Billy Preston) if you will. Look at the disc's for Lost Dogs. No Matt Cameron?
