If she didn't kill him she sure wasn't a very loving spouse with helping him get better. This i believe is why most people are against her...I think the question should be asked was Kurt a fool or just not well suported by the person that "loved" him

Don't forget she was a fucking junkie too. They got high together all the time. I read the book Heavier Than Heaven by Charles Cross and in it he details numerous occasions where she and Kurt shot up together. Why would she be a sensible one to try and make him stop. Also, there is proof through reciepts and paperwork that proves Kurt bought the shotgun used to kill himself 3 week (or months, I can't recall exactly without referencing) in a Seattle gun store. He talked about killing himself all the time to Kris and Dave which mostly was laughed off cause he was high all the time. This was inevitable. I personally believe he killed himself. But even if he hadn't, he would have OD'd with all the heavy drugs he did toward the end of his life.

i never really got the hype for nevermind but i think in utero blew that and anything hole did. anyway, didn't kurt help write a lot of the stuff on what became 'live through this' and even recorded backing tracks and vocals?

This is a great book, read it a few years ago. I am just conflicted about the author. he says he will turn over this mountain of evidence he is witholding if King County will re-open the case. But without some evidence, why would they re-open it. Doesn't make much sense. The case he makes is very convincing and says he has the proof, but won't share it.

All the supposed 'evidence' that points towards Courtney is circumstantial bollocks which people believe to be true because one guy says so, and they also happen to hate Courtney. Kind of reminds me of the West Memphis Three case, not a scrap of real evidence, yet the Bible-thumping locals wanted someone to blame, and who better than a devil-worshipping loner? People don't like Courtney which some how enables them to believe that she could be capable of murder. If people genuinely had a belief that Courtney could be responsible because of her behaviour, they would probably be better off looking into her childhood, which more than explains the adult she became. No real surprises at all - a fucked up childhood, nine times out of ten will lead to a fucked up adulthood.

Is it so hard to believe that a manic depressive with a gun-fascination, crippling heroin addiction and complete inability to handle fame, would kill themselves?
