I'm sure some of you have sat behind the stage....

I would like to hear your thoughts about it...

would you do it again?

did you feel like you were watching a show and not "at" a show?

i'm looking for 10/30 tix and it seems like rear view is where I'll end up

thanks for your time

oh and if you have 2 tix for 10/30... let me know!! Thanks! :)

I was at the boston II show in '06. my first show behind the stage. while obviously not the greatest seats in the house, i did enjoy myself! i was right on top of the band and could see the entire crowd roar. you'll also have a lot of space to roam free and do what you will. ;) it was an unique experience.
it also helps if they play an amazing set like they did that night. :)

I dig it. We are behind the stage for 10/30 and are glad to be in the building... Actually, I think it's better to be closer to the stage than lower tier across the arena. With the way the guys are playing right now, I wouldn't miss it!
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.

I'm on the side rear for the 10/30 show. I wish I made the decision back in august when ten club ticket went on sale since my # is 114,xxx. But hey I'm just happy to be able make the trip down from boston to see the show!!

you can see the whole arena! its like a band's eye view. i cant speak for recently but ive never had an issue with obstruction. but their on stage rig (the wave backdrop/backspacer set) is a newer thing and i havent seen a show behind the stage since they got it.

and dont believe what people say the sound is fine from back there. they have speaker columns hanging from the rafters facing the back and it sounds just as good as anyother location.

check out my pics from behind the stage (off to the right side) at MSG 2 08

that statement right there just made me decide to never sit backstage

    ;)

i guess you can run into shitty areas of the arena anywhere... meaning like people who want to sit the whole time

thanks to everyone for the info and pics
