Sitting home bored & sick, so gonna occupy some time making fantasy setlists. Feel free to post your own.. its always fun to see other peoples take on a great PJ set.


Main Set:

in wide open spaces we sing, with strings.. launch a full on musical cannonball.. guided by bells that we bring, they ring.. sound for the sky and the sun, our own waterfall...

    Since I am going to all 4 Philly shows, will build my fantasy Philly Setlists, which in my opinion are quite practical.....

    Openers: Stick to traditional openers, the rarer the better (Oceans, Sometimes, Long Road, Release)
    Second song: tradiational hi-tempo second songs, space them out over 4 nights (brain of J, save you, etc)
    New Album: Play the entire new album over 4 nights, but repeat some songs everynight (got some, fixer, etc)
    Popular songs: mix up the popular stuff to appease the casual fan (Corduroy, even flow, daughter, etc)
    Rarities: Play every rarity played this tour over 4 nights to appease the hardcore fans but not bore the casual
    Filler: Songs like ghost, green disease, etc... space them out over 4 nights (AKA beer songs)
    Surprises: Pilate, otherside, bushleaguer, etc.... keep them coming guys!
    Covers: Keep to a minium, we want PJ songs! Please no last kiss.
    Closers: YL, Indifference, RITFW, Baba, All Or None

    I think you can play each show as a seperate show for the people going only one night. WIth a mix of popular songs, new songs, and rare songs. But for those of us going 4 nights, it can really be something special.
