jay walker
level headed man

love her up
leave her down
never to come around

instant thought
we shouldn't start
dreaming of the past

feels his hand
on her back
she keeps losing track

what's on her mind
it isn't time
for things that come and go

present tense
in self defense
for nothing's meant to last

    the flow to this, at least when I read it reminds me of a song. but I can't figure out what song.

    which means it's probably a song I wrote myself. I can never remember my own shit. lol
