Its become an unnoficial term that surfaced, I dont know when...within the last 6 years or so, that we are the Jammily. The dead-heads had their catchy nickname, yea, but the Jammily just sums up the feeling of cohesion and brotherly love goin' o-round at every pj show on the floor and in the stands.

Ten club, I love my "mookie" t-shirt and I wear it to every concert, but alas...

You've definately got to roll with this one and replace "mookie" on the back with "Jammily", or create a whole new Jammily shirt. The phrase is brilliant, and It will sell like backspacers I tell you, backspacers.

peace

  • Just curious,I know "Jamily" is out, but is there an acceptable nickname for Pearl Jam fans? Jam Heads? TenClubbers? Or is it just simply "Pearl Jam Fans"?

  • Eddie called us "Freaks". I would much rather be called that than "Jamily".
  • Uh... let's just stick with Pearl Jam fans.

  • the 'Jamily' term makes me cringe. A t-shirt with that on it would make me cry.

This term came from a Entertainment Weekly article. The person who wrote it was at the Philly 2005 show in the parking lot. Someone used the term "Jamily" during one of the interviews and the author ran with it....

So you can thank Philly for the term.... ha.... see you there in a month :D

I can see it now! Halloween Night! The first 10 row's are given Jamily shirts to wear! Ed get's pissed. Get's inside in one of those Wayne Coyne's signature man-sized plastic bubbles, and starts walking on top of the audience!

  • When I see "Jamily," it makes me think of family. Most of my relatives evoke negative emotions. I definitely do not refer to Pearl Jam or fellow fans as family.

There is no tacky name for fans! The band's name is ridiculous enough.

  • I like TEN CLUBERS.......or how about this way- 10clubers.......?
Maybe we should have an official post where everybody can throw out some ideas then vote for the
top 5. Then have another vote to see which one is the winner?

That article gave it new life. But there were discussions then on whether we should call ourselves that.
