    When would a pre-sale be?

Its certain that it'll be before the main sale...hence the name.

In 2006, they had a presale the next day after the announcement for the first 2 shows and then staggered them 2 or 3 a day for a week, but a lot of people complained about the short notice so if I had to guess, probably at least not until this weekend passes if the announcement today is about shows.

don't even joke...you'll freak some people out. :D

i REALLY think it would be nice if they'd wait about a month, personally. of course, that coincides beautifully with being after april 15th ;)....but honestly, i think it makes it better/easier for all to simply figue out their finances/logistics and also to truly know what shows they want and can do, instead of people buying tix to shows in a frenzy, then realizing after the fact, they can't make it, etc.
