    I read that Speed of Sound was originally written for this, not used and then used on Backspacer.

    Whatever happened to that Sonic Youth Tribute album that he was supposed to be on that was going to be exclusively sold at Starbucks? Does anyone remember that?

    It was released in fewer than 100 stores nation wide. Vedder wasn't on it. It was a musician chosen compilation of Sonic Youth songs. Vedder chose Teenage Riot.
