Furthur (Bob & Phil from the Grateful Dead)

I wasn't particularly thrilled with the Dead outing this year for a variety of reasons, and I'm glad I decided against going up to L.A. for the closest show to me.
That being said, I'm listening to the Furthur show from 9/19/09 (you can torrent it at bt.etree.org) and it's pretty solid. I'd like to see this band, but the next few shows are all on the east coast at the end of the year.

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

With that being said, I loved this 3 night Furthur run. You can stream all the shows on archive.org and its well worth it. I really believe this is the best post-Dead material since 95...and that was with little rehearsal. Wish I could make the east coast run but rumors on the Dead boards say a 30 date country wide tour for Furthur in Feb/spring.
