It seemed to me that the band was a little out of synch last night not. Not necessarily musically, however. And did Ed seem drunk as a skunk when they first took the stage. Just observations...

Really? I thought they were pretty spot on.

Anywhere specific that they were off? I didn't notice, heh.

I thought they murdered it, and that setlist was RIDICULOUS! Bee Girl? Are you f***ing kidding me? That was such a surprise! Blood? Definitely on my list of songs to hear live that I've never heard. Immortality, Hail Hail.....shit that show was phenomenal if you ask me. The crowd around me was a little tame for my liking but that didn't stop me ;)

The band was in top form in my opinion. But I felt the crowd was off as well. There were times I was jumping up and down and everybody around me were just standing there like statues. I was going nuts during Blood and I felt a little out of place because I was enjoying it so much. I was 10th row center so it should have been 10c people around me ;)

I was five rows back on the front wing and from my vantage I can see what you are talking about. Some of the songs had just about the whole floor moving a good bit, though. A friend of mine that had never seen Pearl Jam in concert, but is an avid concert attendee, took time to point out the movement of the crowd on the floor during some of the songs.

I thought everyone did a decent job, considering the back portions were completely empty.

Alive, E- Flo, Small Town people were really into it. Satans Bed, Blood,STBC not so much. I had a great time but it just makes a show that much better when people around you ar eon the same level

Ha, I hear you. The two guys on either side of me were both at their first PJ concert...one is a local musician, so he got into it more from a musical side, but the other guy only knew a few tracks (Got Some, The Fixer, Even Flow, Alive) and was pretty stoic during the rest of the show.

  • It will be really interesting to see if they ever come back here after there were about 1,000 empty seats. I am not holding my breath but they seemed really into it so who knows
  • If the band want to come back, I'm sure a promoter will bring them. Even with 1000 empty seats, if the venue is, like, 10,000 +, there's still a massive profit for the promoter there. PJ play for a guarantee, so they don't give a fuck how many empty seats there are-they get paid the same. It's the promoter who loses the cash. But, the promoter still made a tasty profit at SLC. So, it's more a matter of the band having a desire to play there again.
