Alrighty, now I'm SLIGHTLY annoyed....

...I was a huge supporter of whoever handled this Backspacer shipping debacle. However, I have now realized that it probably could have been avoided. Here's a timeline:
September 16/2009: receive email from 10C that my order has been processed (Backspacer pre-order, obviously), and will ship within 24 hours. I am in Winnipeg Canada.
September 19/2009: place order to buy two cd's (Jeff Martin and The Armada) from Kingdom Records in Ireland.
September 28/2009: receive both cd's from Kingdom Records in the mail. Still no Backspacer.
I now see a bit of an issue with this. If it's a customs issue between US and Canada as we have been told, why is there no customs issue when it comes to Ireland and Canada?
I received two cd's from an overseas continent in SIX MAILING DAYS. I can't get a cd that I pre-ordered a couple months ago in, to be totally liberal, 7 or 8 mailing days? That's absurd.
Somethin's a might fishy, I say. I'm still looking forward to getting my cd, but I can't help but wonder if maybe the disc should have been shipping a bit earlier, as many others have pointed out (and I, at the time, refuted).
I'm not demanding an apology or any kind of statement, I just think it's a bit strange is all.

That being said. It takes about 10 business days for most things to come from the US to Canada. So if they shipped it on the 16th, I wouldn't expect it until tomorrow, but because if my bulk shipping theory.. even longer.
Ordered mine from easystreet, it was here when I got back from the seattle shows (I'm edmonton) I think they tried to deliver it on monday the 21st and left a parcel pickup notice. I wish I'd ordered my vinyl through easystreet
