Opening Songs- New Trend??

Ed's mixing up the set list by opening up In My Tree and Gonna See My Friend the last two shows. What will they open with next. My prediction: Spin the Black Circle.

    Going as far back as 2003 the band has been incorporating a more lax idea of opening songs, frankly the back half of 2000 tour.
    His eminence has yet to show.

    Tonight in SLC its going to be Oceans or Release. my fingers are still crossed for WASH though!!

    Gonna See My Friend didn't surprise me as much as In My Tree b/c GSMF is the opening track of the album and if you think about it they open w/ the opening track sometimes... Can't Keep, Breakerfall, Life Wasted, Sometimes, Go etc have all been openers at one point or another.

    Seems as though they are not tagging Daughter anymore either.

    I'm kind of glad because the only song worth tagging on Daughter is It's Ok. The call and return and ABITW is getting a little redundant.

    Yeah, 2003 got crazy ... Alive, Crazy Mary, Present Tense, Betterman, Small Town, Rearviewmirror ... Didn't one of those shows open with Evenflow?

    There are literally hundreds of songs worth tagging on Daughter. Almost any song in the world. My favorite has always been Monkey Gone to Heaven/Mother from the 1998 show in Dallas.

    You know those moments in life where everything just feels right and you're as content as you've ever been?

    When they played OTG and Breakerfall back to back, it was one of those moments. 8-)
